Medical research states that in about 50 per cent of people, teeth are uneven, bent or not aligned. Apart from aligning your teeth, dental braces are also helps to align upper and lower jaws. Some people have an overbite jaws while some others have underbrite jaws. Overbite means your upper jaw is bigger than your lower jaw whereas underbite means your lower jaw is bigger than your upper jaw. Both these conditions are medically termed to as malocclusion.
